Miles Pike " Timeless Songs For Times Like These " & "The First Ones Covered By The Blood "

Miles Pike ,two of Mile's Cd's landed on my desk for review not ever hearing any of his songs before I was uncertain just what to expect. The titles gave a clue though, "Timeless Songs For Times Like These " & "The First Ones Covered By The Blood" obviously a Christian Music based artist. Easy Listening / Christian Country to be precise , I could handle that ok. Full Review Here

Chasing Jane "Unravelled "

Chasing Jane from the get go what a great name for a band !. The Band name alone drew me to listen to their debut Album " Unravelled " . And yes it was well worth a listen , right from the start you notice that here is a band that can actually play their instruments and play them well to boot. Lyrically the Album is fresh and original I couldn't fault any song on the 10 track CD that appeared in my mail,and musically and vocally it was flawless with great production and tight vocal harmonies. Sons Of Day " Fragile People " cd review

The four brothers born in Cherkasy, Ukraine, Roman, Vlad, Bogdan and Scottie Belonozhko were not raised as Christian. In fact Belonozhko's grandfather Iosif (Joseph) was a member of the KGB security force that persecuted Christians in the communist era Soviet Union. While searching out and confiscating Christian literature from an old woman whom the KGB had arrested, Joseph though discovered an old Bible the woman was hiding. Fascinated by the old book he slipped it into his attache case and secretly stole it home where out of curiosity he read it. From his readings he found God and ultimately Christ in a place where Christ was not allowed, a land of atheism. From Joseph's conversion his wife and children came to know Christ, and subsequently his grandchildren as well, including Roman, Vlad, Bogdan and Scottie. >>>>>> READ MORE

Karen Shadbolt " Better Day " Cd

The first thing that strikes you about this Album is the cover art Karen is just a very photogenic lady this is a good thing LOL , The album contains ten tracks all written and composed and performed by Karen. This in itself is a rare thing these days to find a totally original album for there is usually at least 1 cover track in most Albums these days.

The Alum is released under the Rushing Winds Records label and the production of the album is impeccable it’s very evident that time was taken to ensure the best production on every track vocals and harmonies and instrumentation are faultless throughout. Just last week I opened my mail one morning and discovered a Cd by a band called “ Three Days Wait “ , mmm I thought interesting name there , so I opened the package and found it to contain a Christmas based Album, very fitting and just in time too after all it is November and the Christmas season is just around the corner.
